Adhiraj A Bhaduri

Since I have been asked to write a testimonial about the training rendered to me by the PMI WB Chapter, I was wondering from where to start. Let me give a small background before I actually get into the topic, because without that my full experience of the professionalism of the training team will not be complete.

When I decided to study PMP I inquired from Mr. Chirabrata Majumder, whom I knew beforehand, during a midweek and he told me that a new batch would start from the immediate forthcoming Saturday. He got me connected to the training team instantly (I won’t name anyone specifically, as they collectively deserve a big thanks). I learnt that the registration was long over, study materials were printed and the accommodation for the training had also been freezed with no more extra space. However, on seeing my eagerness they got into a project management mode themselves and arranged to enlist me overnight. The thick fat study material got printed, the training accommodation at the venue got shifted to a bigger & better room. This happened in war footings as I kept interacting with the team till the previous evening.

Finaly the training. It was very rigorous and thorough, touching all the topics. The best part was, unlike other REPs, PMI WB Chapter Training team has hand picked the best faculties for each topic being covered during the course of the training, unlike other REPs where a single trainer takes you through the entire session. Moreover, at the end of the training all the trainers shared their personal contact details for calling them to clear further doubts. They also insisted us to form a Whatsapp group among the trainees wherein they also joined to help us post our doubts and responding with the solutions. Lastly, cost wise too, I think they charge the least compared to any other REP in the region and this is voluntary service that the facilities provide.

Overall, I find the PMI WB chapter a very professionally run body and the training it bestows is the best.
