LEADER SPEAKS

Mr. Sumit Kumar Sinha

PMI West Bengal Chapter has completed 5 year milestone. BIG thanks to everyone who has helped us in achieving this milestone.

It is been an incredible ride. We are honored and humbled that you have stuck with us all that time, and we promise that in decade ahead, Chapter will deliver more and better work in the areas you need most.

Thank you for the 5 remarkable years of warmth, friendship and support. We absolutely could not have done it without you, nor can we take the next steps without your help. It is been 5 years, but there is still a lot to learn and a lot to share.

We hope you will keep holding us to high standards and telling us when we have met your expectations and when we have let you down.

It is my privilege to be a part of the founding member team who steered the foundation of PMI West Bengal Chapter and then been nominated by the steering team to be the first President of the newest PMI chapter of India. The objective of this chapter is to spread awareness of PM principles and help PM communities of the region build a strong network to learn and unlearn from each other.

The Chapter would leverage the years of global knowledge offered by PMI®, who supports over 500,000 members in 135 countries. Global PMI member’s community comprises of volunteers, who are committed, dedicated and enthusiastic. We aim at providing an excellent platform for project practitioners, academicians, and professionals together to Participate, Network, Share, Publish and Leverage Experiences and Best Practices in Project Management.

While the chapter is in its infancy, learning each day from its stakeholders, would assure we keep the endeavor vibrant and growing. Take this opportunity to request all members and members to be of PMI West Bengal Chapter, for an active involvement to share and leverage their experience to help others succeed in their respective project management journeys of varied scales.

I wish the project professionals and PMI Global Community a very grand success in all professional aspects of Project Management.
